Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Apex League Ottawa (“Apex League”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, registering for a season, or playing in the league, you agree to them. Players must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian register on their behalf and accept these terms for them.

Keep your account information accurate and your sign-in credentials to yourself. You're responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts used to harass others, disrupt the league, or break these terms.

• Season fees are shown during registration and charged through Stripe. Your spot is confirmed only after payment completes — an unpaid registration may be released at any time and its spot and kit colour reopened to other teams.
• Team registrations are paid by the registering captain and cover the listed roster; invited players join under that team's registration.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Apex League is competitive, but respect is non-negotiable. Referee decisions are final. Violence, threats, discrimination, or repeated unsporting behaviour — on the pitch, in team chat, or toward officials — can result in warnings, suspensions, or expulsion from the league at our discretion. Expulsion for misconduct does not entitle you to a refund.

Soccer is a physical sport and carries an inherent risk of injury. By participating you acknowledge and accept those risks, confirm you are physically fit to play, and agree that Apex League, its organizers, and volunteers are not liable for injuries or losses arising from ordinary participation in league activities, to the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law. You are responsible for your own health and any insurance you may want. A separate signed waiver may also be required before your first match.

League matches are recorded, and photos are taken at league events. By playing, you consent to appearing in match recordings, highlights, and league photos, which may be published on the site and the league's social channels. See our Privacy Policy for how your information is handled.

Fixtures, times, and venues are set by the league and may change; we'll communicate changes through the site and team chat. Games cancelled for weather, facility, or safety reasons are rescheduled where possible.

We may update these terms between seasons; the date above reflects the latest version, and continuing to play after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Questions: management@apexleague.ca.
